Audrey Hepburn...First thing which comes to mind for myself, and I am sure many young girls and women are her Eyebrows, her kind Aura she brought to each and every one of her roles, her Smile and Style.
I first learned of this beauty from my older sister, Alyssa. She had the above portraits hung in her room since I can always remember. I asked her who she was, which led me to be first introduced to the movie Breakfast at Tiffany's. My favourite movies not much later soon became movies such as Breakfast at Tiffanys, Roman holiday, Sabrina, Funny face, and some other my sister had sat down with me to enjoy.
My First encounter with the movie Breakfast at Tiffany's was when my sister decided to take me to the Princess Twin Theatre in Uptown Waterloo. The movie and actress came to life so brilliantly on a big screen, and in Technicolour!, since the original edit was of course in black and white. It was really great to see a classic on the big screen and made it very easy to fall in love with the characters and story line.
Recently, my sister decided to redecorate her apartment, so I was fortunate enough (being a younger sister) to receive the hand me downs of the very same portraits which decorated her walls. With these, I decided to go full out Breakfast at Tiffany's theme in my room, with one wall painted what I call a "Tiffany Blue", and a black and white baroque comforter set to accent the room nicely.
Audrey Hepburn is a great respectable woman icon for many generations, and I hope for many more to come.
