On Wednesday April 22, my class went on a field trip to Conestoga College, in which I had no idea what I was in store for. I thought there would be an event for each school to meet new people from other schools and present each other with new websites and blogs. Well that wasn't exactly what ended up happening. Instead we were all given a tour of the campus.
Sadly, the only thing that had interested me was the visual merchandising department. They had told me that I could get two credits in fashion design and interior design, in which I was incredibly interested in. I have always been pretty certain that I wasn't going to college or university after high school, so at first the tour seemed useless to me. Unexpectedly I was happy to find out that there was a place for me in a college program in the future that I would be interested in seeking out.
Even with this revelation, I was disappointed they didn't bring us inside the design room, so the tour began to lag and began to become long and tiring because nothing else had interested me. The end of the day brought about another spin for the positive, when we met up with Blue vale to play a game of heads up, a game made by Ellen DeGeneres and it was quite entertaining.
Finally, I gave my business cards for my website, (mainly to girls), because as you can see my website is pretty girly. I was told by the Blue vale teacher that my cards looked awesome which made me feel wonderful because i had worked so hard on them.
